The Netherlands showcases expertise in agriculture in Netherlands Pavilion at Caspian Agro 2023

From 17 till 19 May 2023, the annual Caspian Agro exhibition will take place at the Expo Center in Baku. The Netherlands will be represented again with a “Netherlands Pavilion” in this International Agriculture Exhibition with 9 Dutch companies this time.
The Dutch agricultural companies will be exhibited in the Netherlands pavilion are following:
  • Hortilux is one of the world leaders in smart lighting of green houses.
  • FEX B.V. is an exporter of cut flowers.
  • RijkZwaan a vegetable breeding company. 
  • Svensson is the pioneer and world leader in climate control and energy efficiency through textile-based solutions. 
  • De Ruiter has been at the cradle of cut and pot rose cultivation for dozens of years, in addition they also breed spray roses, patio and landscape roses, cut and pot hypericum, hip roses, Anigozanthos and hydrangeas.
  • Royal GD is a leading organisation in animal health and animal production. With its state-of-the-art veterinary laboratories and research facilities and with veterinary knowledge and expertise it supports customers worldwide. 
  • Koppert provides an alternative to chemical pesticides and the company was the first to find a natural solution to combat the pest in crop.
  • Nijhuis Saur Industries provides solid and adaptive solutions for sustainable and resilient water use, energy and resource recovery for Light and Heavy Industries, Utilities, and Commercial Buildings around the world. 
Several other Dutch agricultural companies will be represented in separate stands at the exhibition.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan, Ms. Pauline Eizema, will join the opening of the exhibition on 17 May and will invite guests and partners to visit the Netherlands Pavilion in the Exhibition.

Agriculture is deeply rooted in the Dutch history and culture. In the global fight against hunger and malnutrition, the Netherlands is keen to share knowledge and expertise with other countries, including Azerbaijan, to accelerate sustainable food production and responsible use of raw materials and consumption.
The Netherlands has cultivated its agricultural knowledge for centuries. It enables us to intensify farming sustainably and grow high-quality produce. Azerbaijan’s agricultural sector is rapidly developing, that is why we are here to support the country in the further sustainable development of the sector. Dutch companies have been actively working in Azerbaijan for many years, sharing knowledge and experience with the government and local businesses.
