On April 28, a press conference was held at JW Marriott Absheron Hotel dedicated to the 19th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition and Forum - Caspian Agro Week, and the 31st Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition - InterFood Azerbaijan, which are significant and large-scale events in the region dedicated to the agriculture and food industry.
The press conference was attended by representatives of the mass media, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as members of the event’s organising committee.
At the conference, speeches were delivered by Bahruz Hidayatzade, Executive Director of Caspian Event Organisers, Anar Jafarov, Director of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, Zarina Mammadova, Projector director of the Caspian Agro Week and InterFood Azerbaijan exhibitions, Sevda Hajiyeva, Head of Department of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Farhad Ashurbeyli, Executive Director of Azerbaijan Culinary Specialists Association. They provided detailed information about the exhibitions to be held from 5 to 8 May and answered questions from journalists.
The largest events of the Caspian region — the 19th Caspian Agro Week and the 31st InterFood Azerbaijan exhibitions, which have been established as national brands, will take place at the Baku Expo Centre.
These events are organised with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The exhibitions also receive active support from the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AQTA), the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan – AZPROMO, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organisations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK), Azerbaijan Food and Beverage Industrialists Association (AFBIA), Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), and Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association (ASTA).
