In Azerbaijan, the international exhibition season will commence in May with the region’s largest exhibitions in the agricultural and food industry sectors. From 5 to 8 May, the Baku Expo Center will host exhibitions that have already become national brands: the 19th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition and Forum - Caspian Agro Week, the 31st Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition - InterFood Azerbaijan, as well as the 14th Caspian International Exhibition Everything for Hotels, Restaurants and Supermarkets - Horeca Caspian.
The industries covered by the exhibitions consistently receive special attention from the state. For many years, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr Ilham Aliyev, who regularly visits the Caspian Agro Week and InterFood Azerbaijan exhibitions, has been reviewing the exhibition pavilions and meeting participants at the Baku Expo Center.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan provides organisational support to the exhibitions. The events are also supported by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AQTA), the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan – AZPROMO, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organisations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK), Azerbaijan Food and Beverage Industrialists Association (AFBIA), Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), and Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association (ASTA).
This year, the exhibitions will be marked by several new features. Previously known as Caspian Agro, the exhibition will be organised under a new brand — Caspian Agro Week starting from 2026 and will be presented as the Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition and Forum. The organisers believe that the updated and expanded concept will give new momentum to the exhibition and create broader opportunities for networking, cross-sector collaboration and effective business dialogue for both participants and visitors.
Preparations for the exhibitions are currently underway at an active pace. To date, more than 300 companies from over 30 countries have confirmed their participation.
Alongside with Azerbaijan, the geography of the exhibitions covers Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, China, the Czech Republic, Ethiopia, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Netherlands, South Korea, the Russian Federation, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, United States of America and Vietnam.
At the same time, within the framework of the exhibitions, AFAZ (Africa-Azerbaijan Cooperation), Belarus, Brazil, Georgia, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, the Netherlands and South Korea will present their agricultural and food industry products in the format of national groups. It should be noted that AFAZ and Brazil are participating in these exhibitions for the first time.
This year, as in previous years, most of the exhibition area at the Baku Expo Centre has been booked by companies from across the globe. The exhibitions are being organised both in the indoor pavilions and the outdoor areas of the Baku Expo Centre. In particular, the outdoor space will showcase a display of large-scale agricultural machinery and the latest agrotechnical products. Here, visitors will have the opportunity to closely familiarise themselves with the most recent technological achievements and equipment in the agricultural sector.
One of the key updates this year is that in 2026, the 'InterFood Azerbaijan' exhibition will be consolidated in a single location – Pavilion 4 of the Baku Expo Centre. Consequently, all local and foreign companies representing the food industry will showcase their products specifically within this pavilion. This approach allows visitors to save time and explore all the latest innovations in the food sector more conveniently within a unified space.
Alongside foreign representatives and local companies, Azerbaijan's regions will also be actively represented at the exhibition this year. Within the framework of the exhibitions, visitors will have the opportunity to closely explore the agricultural and food industry potential of the regions.
A comprehensive business programme has been prepared for these exhibitions. Over four days at the Baku Expo Centre, several major events will take place, including the Gold Shah 2026 - International Culinary Championship, industry presentations and masterclasses under Food & Agro Talks, the 3rd International Agrarian Innovation Forum, the 5th Agribusiness Development Forum, the Power of Agricultural Insurance Against Risks Forum, the 2nd International Forum of Agronomists within the Framework of Public–Private Partnership, and the 'AGROSCIENCE' Forum. Additionally, tours for farmers from various regions will be organised across the exhibitions. Furthermore, traditional business meetings (B2B/B2G) will be presented in a new format.
The organisers of the Caspian Agro Week, InterFood Azerbaijan, and Horeca Caspian exhibitions are Caspian Event Organisers and its partners, Caspian Event Management and ICA Events. The official hotel partner is Absheron Hotel Group, and the official outdoor advertising partner is Bilbord.al.
