Arif Behbudov, Sector Head at the State Agrarian Development Center of the Tartar District
This year, we came to the exhibition with a group of 15 farmers from the Tartar district. The main reason that brought us to the exhibition is the strong interest in the agricultural sector.
Over the past 10 years, this exhibition has played a very important role for the agricultural sector. One of the most important aspects is the introduction of innovations, the presentation of efficient and intensive equipment, as well as new technologies needed by our farmers, and the creation of sales opportunities.
Considering that 445 companies from 47 countries are represented at the exhibition and that 500 farmers from 55 regions of Azerbaijan were invited, these facts once again prove the significance of the Caspian Agro exhibition. On our behalf, we would like to express our gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture and the exhibition organizers.
The main areas of activity in our district are crop production and livestock farming. We visited the pavilions in detail and obtained almost all the information related to our fields of activity. We also held extensive discussions with representatives of local and foreign companies.
In addition, we were informed about the future role of digital technologies in sustainable development and received comprehensive information about ways to implement “smart agriculture” projects. I am confident that we will use these innovations in our work in the future.
