Vadim Morari, Manager at SALVI VIVAI (Italy)
Italy is often associated with wine, design, and cuisine; however, there is another less visible yet highly important sector — plant nurseries and the cultivation of premium-quality planting material. This is precisely the field in which Salvi Vivai operates. We specialize in growing and supplying saplings ranging from cherries and apples to pears, kiwifruit, and strawberries. These are not merely plants, but comprehensive solutions for establishing orchards and agricultural ventures designed for long-term success.
We have been participating in this exhibition for six consecutive years. Frankly speaking, we return not out of routine, but because of tangible results. Each year proves to be productive, bringing new business connections, promising initiatives, and orchard projects that later develop successfully.
Preparatory work begins well before the exhibition itself: initial agreements are typically reached weeks in advance. This year is no exception, with several preliminary arrangements already in place. Today, we are also expecting an important meeting with Azerbaijani partners regarding a major project — the establishment of a cherry orchard covering approximately 20 hectares in the Gusar district. This represents a significant investment and a long-term partnership.
For us, Azerbaijan is not merely a market, but a country with substantial agricultural potential, where modern horticultural technologies are actively implemented.
